Making Christ known in communities where He is least known. We partner with evangelical churches of all denominations to send workers into communities where Christ is least known. We serve on every inhabited continent in the world and in more than 70 countries. We are united by our desire to share the good news of Jesus with those who are living and dying without Him.

Over time, SIM has merged with other mission organisations in Africa, Asia and South America, some of which started earlier than 1893, to become the global mission agency it is today; including Africa Evangelical Fellowship, Andes Evangelical Mission, International Christian Fellowship and Sudan Interior Mission.

Our workers serve in a huge range of ministries, from church-planting and youth work to theological education and Bible translation; from hospitals and clinics to universities and colleges; from accounting and finance to human resources and administration; from agriculture and relief work to small businesses and friendship evangelism.
