Latin Link is committed to the fundamental truths of historic, biblical Christianity, in harmony with Lausanne and CLADE movements. Latin Link is involved in many different things, but our heart is expressed in one word: formación. From Spanish, this can mean ‘formation’, ‘training’ or ‘education’. To us, formación speaks of personal development and spiritual growth, leading to wholeness. We would see these finding their ultimate fulfilment in Christ.

Our mission is to evangelise, to teach and equip, to prepare people for life and work, to develop their God-given potential and help them grow in the service of others. In Christian terms, Latin Link is about whole-life discipleship which we believe to be God’s heart for every person and every community.

Formación is needed for:
Church: Teaching and development, leadership training and whole-life discipleship for all ages.
Business: Encouraging ethical employment, creating social enterprise and providing microfinance.
Community: Meeting practical needs, restoring broken relationships and encouraging local Christians to play their part.
Education: Theological training and preparation for mission supported by publishing and resources.
Outsiders: Church involvement with their neighbours and the communities around about them.
Personally: Our relationship with God, an openness to lifelong learning, growing into spiritual maturity, and encouraging others to begin or continue this process.

Latin Link was formed in 1991 when the Evangelical Union of South America (EUSA) and the Regions Beyond Missionary Union (RBMU) merged to form a new agency. Today we are the largest interdenominational mission agency in Britain specialising in Latin America.
